Jeff Bale Is My Hero

Dearest Readers,

Today was a slow start to the heist. The Dons being as incompetent as they are, gave a 24 hour warning before the culling which actually ended up being a smooth 48 hours. Oops. We'll be better next week, we promise.

Our favorite daily challenge of the day were the "honest trailers" that were submitted by the candidates. To be fair, most of them weren't honest trailers but just roast sessions but we're not complaining. Selena, try not taking a nap next time and forgetting to wake up to make your video, it might be better then. Ishika, nobody wants to see you Schmoneying in your room by yourself. Ananya, we all really enjoyed your pink hair in middle school and we hope it gets its revival. Aditi, thank you for having Jeff Bale in your video. He is and always will be my hero. The link below has SOME of our favorite clips (not all are winners).

Ahh Elliot the moose, a tale as old as time. Candidates had to. write a story through the perspective of a moose named Elliot who is trying to commit a robbery. I'd just like to give a shoutout to Sandy Matsuda for the best submission today; all of her story consisted of variations on the sound "hrggggghhhhhh." Noela Bae did the same thing but Sandy's really spoke to me on a deeper level due to the wonderful imagery and exquisite diction. Nice work Sandy, try to get that published, it's a real work of art. The most disturbing story by far was by the man Justin Choi. There is no part of it that I could put into this blog due to none of it being appropriate for school but I highly encourage you to ask him to read it if you have the sudden urge to tear your eyes out. Jeff Lui brought his artistic vision of Elliot and made him a communist. Mr.Howden would be so proud. Estella, your tale of Elliot saving the love of his life Hank brought me to tears. Such a touching tale. Sell it as a screenplay, you'll make millions.

Tomorrow will be an eventful day. I'm sure the immunity will really brighten everyone's mood as well as game day which Don Han hopes will tear apart even more friendships than the last one. But until tomorrow, I'm going to be out like a light.

Happy Heisting,
